I am a fan of this genre of music in small doses, but i have no personal crush on 50 cent and I found this movie intriguing. The rest of the supporting cast did and pretty cool job such as my boy Terrence Howard whom most know from "Hustle & Flow", he supplied the comic relief and out shined 50 in the scenes featured with him. I am forced to believe that this film was made as a practical joke, possibly as a tax write off, because there is nothing in it resembling talent or effort or anything decent at all. Lost's Mr Eko played his character well, as did Terrence Howard!

It would appear that the gangsta-rap revival is suddenly upon us. The movie is very similar to Eminems 8 Mile, as in it shows little reference to the artists life.The name is different but it shows some similarty to Curtis '50 Cent' Jacksons life.The movie has action,drama,gang fights,romance, and a whole lot more. GIbts dazu RIchtlinien die verbieten, eine solche AUssagen zu machen, wenn es gar nicht auf wahren Begebenheiten basiert?Kennt ihr gute Filme nach wahren Begebenheiten die spannend sind und wo es um Entführung geht wie z.B in 3096 Tage oder 12 years a slave ?Suche so Filme wie von Eminem oder 50Cent.

I like 50 cent as a rapper, maybe I am biased, but I really do think this movie was good. 50 Cent should not even be called an actor because all he does is swear and curse and try to act cool throughout this film. Flappers? This movie got a lot of bad ratings from many reviewers. He has beef with Ja Rule and his Murder Inc posse, some of whom claim to have stabbed Jackson in a New York studio in 2000.

This is just one of those movies you HAVE to see for yourself and not listen to all the hype.I really enjoyed getting a deeper look at what 50 what he is today and hope he makes acting a regular part of his career. A lot of people who know me would say I'm just being biased since I absolutely despise hip-hop, rap, or whatever its called but this movie (and I use that term lightly) was utter crap.

There are no flat characters to artificially ease the main character into some orchestrated epiphany. His audience were not buying music, but buying into the notion of a black star as a self-destructive maniac.
