In retaliation, Marcus attacks Raul, but stops short of murdering him when he realizes it's not worth throwing away the rest of his life, and instead shoots Raul in the legs multiple times as payback for Antwan. As Marcus more seriously pursues music, Majestic tries everything in his power to sabotage his success, threatening record label employees, DJs, and more, even going as far as to threaten Charlene and Marcus's newborn son while at the hospital.

I am forced to believe that this film was made as a practical joke, possibly as a tax write off, because there is nothing in it resembling talent or effort or anything decent at all. This movie is gritty, powerful and raw. The soundtrack was released on November 8, 2005. There is no seamless stream of canned emotional music to fill in the gaps for underactive imaginations. The star (Ha.Ha)50 Cents has the screen presence of a plastic toilet seat and mumbles his incomprehensible way through the film,which is so predictable from start to finish with all the familiar stereotypical South American drug barons,shootings and small-time hangers on we would expect. Later one of his close friends, Antwan, is shot and paralyzed at a club by a Colombian named Raul; the gunman initially aimed for Marcus. But this is not run-of-the-mill Hollywood fare. So please, ignore the negative views and watch this film!!!!
50 gets shot, a lot(big surprise). Some may say 50 cent is a sell out with a movie and a video game coming out in the same month,but I personally think he is doing a good job. Alrite, i agree its not an Oscar winning film, but I enjoyed it! Used to be a boxer. Eminem did a hell of a lot better job in '8 Mile' then Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson did here.
